Your new ACC GM, Darcy Vigue here providing you with an update of what’s what!
Firstly, huge success this last week with the IPE!
Would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped out from beginning to end, including clean up crews, door greeters and bartenders! If you would like to get in on the excitement next time, I would like to encourage everyone to look at volunteering to help make events at our club a one of a kind experience, just ask “how can I help!”
With the curling season right around the corner, we will be starting some basic clean up and will require extra help with this process, again just ask “how can I help?” We want to start this season with great success! But before we can do all that, we need to support our club and host an exceptional cause, the recreation fair!
This will be on the 13th of September and we are still looking for people who know how to show other people how to do something. If this sounds like you just ask, “How can I help?”
I look forward to meeting new faces as your new ACC GM at our newly dated AGM ( Annual General Meeting ) on September 20th, where we open the discussion of how our little club is doing and hear your comments and concerns of what you would like to see happen in the new season. Most importantly it gives you the opportunity to experience our social network of other club members, you may not know about during other leagues, but also gives you the chance to ask “how can I help?”
So I hope to meet and greet as many of you as possible, while breaking bread, sharing a great meal, so that I may ask you, “how can I help?”
